Tried it (for breakfast) a few months ago & have been here at least 3/4× a month!

Cozy breakfast diner near campus with a great menu

We were very pleased with the waitress and the food. Eggs were perfect as I am very fussy with over hard.We will definitely go there to check out lunch and dinner.Wish the new owners luck.

One of the worst restaurant experiences in my life. For some reason they decided to start cleaning up the place with harsh smelling chemicals while they were still serving customers. This also included cleaning some part of their kitchen that made it smell like sewage. There were multiple flies buzzing around us as well, which tells us something had not been cleaned in a long time. The food itself would have been decent if not for the terrible smells ruining any taste.

I came with my family for a college visit at ISU. We were seated right away and the restaurant is very clean. The smell of fresh pancakes in the environment is delicious. The Mexican skillet was good. The eggs were cool to perfection. The hash browns in the skillet needed a bit more grated onions to improve the taste. My kids loved their pancakes and my wife liked her strawberry crapes.

Food was great! Good portions, fair pricing, served quickly, with excellent service! Kept our coffee topped off, and responsive to our requests. I got the Greek Omelette...yummm... Pancakes came with real butter - yes! We will definitely be coming back!

Family owned and ran and they do great job. I frequent here and have had a good amount of items on the menu and I've never had an issue with any of it. Very small diner kind of feel to it which is nice.

The service was slow. My wife had to ask the other waitress to refill her coffee as our waitress was visiting with other customers. When I received my food, the scrambled eggs had a greasy, awful taste. The pancakes were rubbery and could not be cut with the fork. The knife did not do much better. The only positive is that the 3 slices of bacon were excellent. I finished the bacon and only two bites each of the eggs and pancakes.

This is a great “Mom & Pop” restaurant. It’s cozy, the menu has variety but it’s simple enough and their morning/early afternoon hours suggest to me that they’ve maintained a focus on their craft. I enjoyed my skillet while there and sampled the corned beef skillet from my girlfriend. This isn’t anything fancy but it’s good solid food worthy of a post-breakfast nap on a cold, Sunday afternoon. This is the kind of joint where, if I were a local, I’d visit often in the hopes that the staff would offer their morning greeting to me by name.

Have been here around five times, always had a good experience! Coffee is always good, food is always fresh and tasty! Anna was my server every time and she is super friendly and a great waitress

Pricing is very fair and their food is very yummy. I'm not a huge fan of pancakes but they do it right. This is a great place to jump-start your morning. Coffee is good and their food is flavorful. 100% recommend after a long night

The absolute best customer service we've ever gotten. The staff was extremely attentive. Our waiter gets an easy 10/10! Cheap fast stop to get good food.

My wife and I went here for breakfast and it was very good! It has a very homey feel to it. Service was fast and efficient and food was hot! Would definitely come again.

This is the best breakfast restaurant in town that no one knows about. The food is generous and delicious the wait staff is friendly and the prices are more than fair.

This small but cozy place has amazing food, friendly and expedient staff, 200% worth a visit! I had biscuits and gravy and it was delicious!

The food here was really good and was moderately priced. The restaurant was pretty clean overall for how busy it was (we went after early morning church service on Sunday). The only reason I rate it 4 stars (and considered rating it 3) was because of the service. No smiles, no friendly greetings, no conversation of any kind. Maybe it's just where we're from that expectations for service are different. It just felt like taking care of customers was a chore and no one seemed like they wanted to be there. ALWAYS EXCELLENT Food and Service!! We LOVE this place! It's our Sunday "after church go-to place" every week. The breakfast AND lunch/dinner food is ALWAYS EXCELLENT and they give you plenty to fill you up! The breakfast skillets are a favorite, the pancakes and the sausage are SO GOOD, and the beef sandwich is "out of this world"! The Service is also ALWAYS EXCELLENT-- their staff is very personable and attentive! We have taken other people with us several times and everyone who eats here is always very satisfied! It's not a real big place so you may need to wait, but the wait is always worth it here! GO HERE and plan to ENJOY!

The food was delicious and filling; it came out fast and the service was great, too. However, there were fruit flies trying to get at our food the entire time, which was kind of a hassle to keep them away.

Was really good I dont eat meat and the waiter recommended me options on the menu that didn't include meat and they are really helpful. I fully recommend this place

Uncle Tom's pancake House is a really good weekend breakfast option. The service can be a little bit slow, but still very very friendly! The food is awesome, and you get a lot of food for a great price.

Love this place. It's my go-to breakfast spot. The only issue is that the kitchen is not apart from the dining due to the size of the place. This makes it a bit hot. Didnt bother me but was quite noticeable.

Tried this place for the first time today, the hash browns are awesome! Had a skillet, chubby had an omelette, both very good.

Been coming here since I was a kid and I can’t say enough good things about it. Staff is incredibly friendly, service is fast, prices are far lower than other places and the food is really good. (I personally recommend the chocolate chip pancakes or the biscuits and gravy!)

Food is great, service is great. We do vary our breakfast places, fort Jesse cafe, the original pancake house and uncle toms. But Uncle Toms is definitely our favorite. Would be awesome if they upgraded the restaurant but I think they are focusing on great service and food for now.
